Skyview Networks has introduced Cirocast, a cloud-native and broadcast-grade audio distribution platform aimed at giving broadcasters greater versatility, control and added revenue potential. Skyview will demonstrate the new platform live at next week’s 2026 NAB Show in Las Vegas.
The Cirocast platform answers the call from broadcasters transitioning from satellite distribution to IP solutions, with C-band satellite changes taking shape. According to Skyview’s news release, Cirocast shifts distribution from a capital-heavy expense to a scalable revenue platform, enabling monetization without sacrificing the reliability broadcasters expect from delivery systems.
Cirocast also changes how broadcast feeds are built, with a platform delivering broadcast-quality audio over IP with the low-latency performance required for live and linear programming. Using fully mixed market-specific audio feeds that are assembled in the cloud before delivery to move ad targeting, copy splits and content personalization upstream, the release notes that this “allows broadcasters to unlock new revenue from programming that connects directly to virtualized environments, cloud-based automation systems or affordable on-premises infrastructure.”
