Skyview Networks Grows Playfly Sports Partnership, Adding Texas A&M and UTSA While Deepening San Jose State Relationship

Aggies to utilize Skyview’s full suite of audio solutions as Roadrunners select AdView Inventory Management services and Spartans add production to existing service portfolio

Skyview Networks continues to elevate its collegiate footprint, announcing an expanded agreement with multimedia rights holder Playfly Sports, the sports industry’s leading revenue maximization company, that brings Texas A&M University and the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) into its network of NCAA partners and adds new capabilities for current partner San Jose State University. Under the new terms, Skyview Networks will provide audio distribution, production and its AdView Inventory Management and Live Read Management software for the Aggies, while the Roadrunners join as a new client for AdView Inventory Management. San Jose State’s Spartans, meanwhile, are adding production services to round out their existing audio solutions lineup.

“One of our main priorities at Playfly is to give fans unparalleled access to their teams, whether that’s at the venue or when they tune in at home,” said Christy Hedgpeth, President of Playfly Sports Properties. “We’re thrilled to expand our partnership with Skyview, innovating in ways that directly impact the fan experience across college sports.”

The agreement gives all three athletic departments a more direct hand in how their broadcasts are delivered. Texas A&M will now run their program through Skyview Networks’ full technology stack of distribution, production and AdView platforms, built to streamline operations and open up new revenue opportunities around each broadcast. Select stations in the Texas A&M network will be receiving their broadcast via Cirocast, Skyview’s new award-winning, cloud-native distribution platform that gives programming a flexible path into cloud, virtual or existing station environments. By adding AdView Inventory Management software to its broadcast process, UTSA will have greater visibility and control over their inventory. For San Jose State, the addition of production services builds on a partnership already in place, giving the athletic department another layer of support as it continues to grow its audio presence.

“The addition of Texas A&M and UTSA to our NCAA portfolio along with the expansion of services for San Jose State demonstrates the trust our partners have in Skyview and how these partnerships often grow over time as existing clients look to us for additional services and support,” said Andrew Kalb, Chief Operating Officer of Skyview Networks. “Our team is focused on giving our partners the tools they need to run a first-class broadcast, while simultaneously providing valuable inventory opportunities to our sales team for continued revenue generation.”

Skyview Networks’ audio solutions portfolio spans distribution, inventory management software, production and more, all built to support the day-to-day needs of collegiate and professional broadcast partners. More on Skyview’s full range of services is available at skyviewnetworks.com.
